He told them: "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things" (Gospel of Luke 24: 46-48)

Apostolic Succession: The Seventy of Hippolytus

This text has currently been removed. It derives from my MA dissertation on first and second century succession and oral transmission. My purpose for publishing it here, was mainly to receive response (I guess the information went right over most people's head). It will be published again as soon as my dissertation has been through the process of examination.
